So why does your palm feel cold when some petrol or perfume is put on it?

It is not at all some kind of magic but it is science. Petrol, perfume, etc. have very low boiling point so when they come in contact with our body i.e. our palm then they quickly evaporates. Interestingly, it is due to this evaporation that cooling sensation is produced in our palm. Heat is required for evaporation so the liquid absorbs it from it surrounding i.e. the palm so we feel cool.
