John A Pescud visit at Coketown where he could hardly do any business. John told the narrator that he had a little trip to Philadelphia. While coming back, his wife Jessie saw some petunias in a pot in one of those windows in Coketown. So John thought he would drop off there for the night. He would see if he could dig up some of the cutting or blossoms for his dear wife.
