when a green glass is heated to high temperature, it glows red. A red glass heated in a furnace when taken out appears green. When it cooled down it appears red because it absorbs green light strongly. When red glass is heated it emit green light strongly.

Answer: When a piece of red glass is heated and taken out ,it appears in green colour because of emission of green light strongly.
Explanation:
1. Normally red glass emits red colour.
2. But when it is heated it absolutely gains more energy.
3. The energy is inversely proportional to wavelength.
4. Hence the generated wavelength because of heat normally corresponds to the wavelength of green light.
5. Therefore ,heated red glass emits green colour.
