Duck Billed Platypus is the only animal that can give milk as well as eggs. It is a semi aquatic egg-laying mammal endemic to eastern Australia, including Tasmania. The platypus is a carnivore, it feeds on worms, insect larvae and shrimp that it digs out of the riverbed with its snout or catches while swimming.
