According to Portia, Shylock was not rendering any mercy to Antonio, now Shylock's plea was justice, But Gold like justice is seasoned with mercy, and if true strict justice take up the course, then it is more obvious that Shylock would not be saved, as he plots murder of Antonio cleverly, keeping law on his side.
