First of all what's relief rainfall -:
relief rainfall orographic rainfall is caused by the rally for orography of the land.
when the moisture Laden lands encounter mountains or Hills, the air is forced to rise up the slope of the Mountains. when the air Rises, it cools,condenses and forms clouds.
when the dew point of the air is reach it can no longer hold on its water which comes down to the earth as heavy rain.
monsoon winds bring copious rainfall to the winter side of these mountain ranges.
Now about Punjab, as most of the hills and mountain ranges are located there like Giandari, Sakesar and Tilla Jogian.
