TheTotalDreamer: Despite of our current technology, we are yet to come with a practically feasible and safer way to produce water. So this leaves the entire planet Earth dependent on the rain, the only source.Cities use a huge amount of water daily.[1] Right from flushing to washing cars, washing houses, pets. Shower and tub uses more water for bathing than using a simple 10 litre bucket.Migration from rural to urban areas is occurring in huge amount hoping for a better life which further adds to the demand.

we can say that rain water harvesting is a ray of hope for overcoming the scarcity of water because nowdays the presence of water is going to be decreased and for all these only and only human is responsible because we humans are not using water in right direction.

We are wasting water for unlike works, wasting water for without any reason, using water for clean the vehicle, cattle and so many things. That's why scarcity of water has been arrived.

We know that we have only less amount of pure water is available in our earth surface and it might be only 2-3% of total water present in our earth surface.

So we have to find out other way to overcome the scarcity of water.

Rain water harvesting is the good and cheap source to store water in the top of the roof and other places but by the use of rain water harvesting we can save only less % of water and it would not work in other seasons except rainy season.

So we have to find out other efficient way to overcome the scarcity of water.
