Why does rain water have pH less than 7 ?

because it contains chlorofluorocarbons and they are acidic or dangerous soo ph is less than 7

This is due to the presence of different gases in the atmosphere which are released in the atmosphere from industries, vehicles and other sources. The gases are oxides of sulphur and nitrogen. These react with rain water to form acids of sulphur and nitrogen which comes down as rain.
