• In regions with less than 50 cm of precipitation, Rajasthan has a dry vegetation. The climate is usually semi-arid / arid and there is fairly hot temperatures all throughout the year with extreme temperatures both in summer & winter.
• It consists of thorny trees & bushes/small shrubs because of this vegetation. Its overall height is normally roughly 6 cm. The deep roots of the trees are dense and thorny. Trees are scattered and have long roots that reach the soil to get moisture. It is easily absorbed into its deeper roots and deposited as it rains, so that the vegetation can survive until the next downpour months / years.
• Desert vegetation limits water loss by "decreasing" the size & number of stomata, by having hairy/tiny leaves or waxy coatings. Others are leafy that shed their leaves in the driest season, whereas others curl their leaves in order to minimise water loss/transpiration
