why does ray of light bend from its path when it is travel from one medium to other

bob23: It's because of a phenomena called refraction. When a light beam travels from one medium to another, then it's velocity decreases or increases depending upon the optical density of the other medium. Notice the word beam here. A beam is a collection of many light rays. All light rays in a beam move individually.

because of the refraction light Ray changes it's speed on going from one medium to another so it bends on traveling from one medium to another.

the ray of light bend from its path when it travels from one medium to another medium because of the obstacles in it's path and also because every object has different refractive index.
