Red light has the longest wavelength, while violet has the shortest.
Violet light refracts the most and red light the least because the angle of refraction of violet light through a glass prism is a bit greater than the red light. This is due to the difference in the refractive index of red light and violet light. Violet light has a lower refractive index compared to red light.

Red colour has the highest wavelength, i.e. 620-750nm (and Violet has the least, i.e. 380-450 nm) besides also the lowest frequency. This is why red moves more quickly than the other colours and bends the least (and violet bends the most).
