Why does Sally sell seashells by the seashore when you can just pick them up yourself??!!

sandy sells sea shells by the the sea shore because  in this way she can make money and we as people can also pick them are self but don't because the shells that we pick are are little bit dirty but the once that sally shells are cleaned and shined
