Here is your solution :

Before moving to the solution of this question , let me clear some terms.

Acceleration : The rate of change in velocity per unit time is called acceleration.

Velocity : The rate of change in Distance travelled per unit time is called velocity.

S. I unit of some term

Time = Second ( s )

Velocity = meter / second ( m/s )

Now,

In the definition of acceleration , we came to know that the rate of change in velocity per unit time is acceleration.

Assume that ,

Velocity has changed to m/s in 1 s.

Using first equation of Motion ,

=> v - u = at

Here,

v = final velocity

u = Initial velocity

a = acceleration

t = time

=> m/s = as

=> ( m/s ) / s = a

=> a = m/s²

Hope it helps !!
