Hello mate

Glass is also known a super-cooled liquid or pseudo liquid .

The sharp edge of glass becomes smoother on heating because now the solid glass turns to its liquid state( the heat given is used in breaking the strong inter molecular attraction of solid particles as the vibration of these particle increases.)  and liquid have the property to flow . Liquid flows because it has comparatively low inter molecular attraction as compared to solid. Therefore the particle of liquid are free to move .

Here the property of change in state and flow of fluid is observed.
