why does sheep shearing is not done in cold season

Hey mate!
This is because wool helps the sheep to obtain warmth in the body during winters...like how our sweaters do. But in summer it is sheared off to get rid of the hot climate.

here is your answer.
Sheep shearing may be sheared before Lambing... as the wool quality of the lactating ewes may be reduced... however, timing maybe such that the weather is too cold for the shorn animals ... Falling Sherin may work well ,too ... if done early enough that the fleece has time to grow for the winter... shearing is the removal of fleece ... it's not done during cold season as they need to protect themselves from cold as sheep also fell cold...
