why does shylock hate Antonio?

Antonio charged little or no interest over loans which was against Shylock’s practice.

This act  made Shylock lose his customers and so he had insulted Shylock in the market of Venice.

Also, Antonio was a Christian, who all followed the policy of racial discrimination towards Jews and this reason further increased hatred toward Antonio.

Once Antonio had insulted Shylock in public. Antonio called him a 'dog' and had spat upon him.So Shylock hated Antonio with all his heart and waited patiently to have his revenge on him.
