Why does singnal goes from axon through synapse to dendrite to next neuron but not reverse?

There are main reasons to my point of view:

1. Axon is one in number as compared to the dendrites which are numerous in number.This chemical diffuses towards the dendrite end of next neuron where it generates an electrical signal.

They receive the signals from the axon and carry them further to other neurons. In this way, it is ensured that nerve impulses travel in only one direction .

Hence, the flow of signals in a synapse happens from axonal end of one neuron to dendritic end of another neuron but not in the reverse direction.
