Density means mass / volume. solids has more mass than liquids and gases. and also has more volume. so the solids have more density than any other thing.

naveenbrave: no u are wrong
Anonymous: bcoz they are tightly packed and occupies more space so
naveenbrave: no man
Anonymous: I'm not man
naveenbrave: they occupy less space
naveenbrave: oh ok
naveenbrave: vol is less means more density since both are inversly related
naveenbrave: am i right

solids are closely packed because of their strong attraction forces so the volume occupied by given mass is vrry less when compared with liquids and gases so their density is more
