Steam causes more severe burns than boiling water . The reason is that it release the extra amount of heat (latent heat) which it has already taken during vapourisation ( when steam was formed from water). if you like it please give me brainleist

Steam causes more severe burns then boiling water bcoz steam has latent heat of vapourisation.Latent heat of vapourisation is the geat energy required to change1 kg of a liquid to gas at atmospheric pressure.
