Why does sulphuric acid come out of the bottle when left in the open?

It absorbs moisture from air and gets diluted. Since the volume increases, the acid starts flowing out of bottle. Generally 98% Sulphuric acid is called as concentrated sulphuric acid. Sulphuric acid is highly hygroscopic i.e it will attract water molecules immediately from its vicinity.

Since concentrated sulphuric acid is highly Hygroscopic it absorbs moisture from the atmosphere then its volume increases due to which the level rises and comes out of the bottle
