In summer, monsoon causes heavy rainfall. The temperature measures about 10-18° in the Terai and goes on decreasing towards the north. ... The western part of the country receives more rain than the east. It is caused by the moist westerly winds coming from Mediterranean Sea, Black Sea, Persian Gulf

Answer:

It is due to the the bearing winds blows from the Bay of Bengal which comes from the east direstion.

Explanation:

Because the winds come from the Bay of Bengal. So, the winds coming from the Bey of Bengal, before reaching to the western side many winds fron bay of bengal gradaully decrease by turning into rain. Therefore the rain gradually  decrease in the western part of Nepal.
