why does table salt turns moist during rainy season

It is because it absorbs the moisture from the air(as during rainy season,humidity is high).Thus it turns moist

The table salt which is commonly used does contain some impurities which are hygroscopic in nature.
Hygroscopic substances tend to absorb moisture from the air without dissolving in it. like CaCl2.
As they do so, the salt turns during the rainy season during which the air is saturated with water vapour.
