Why does terrestrial radiation happen occur mostly at night??

It is majorly due to Solar radiation. During sunlight i.e. daytime, there is net gain in energy due to radiation from Sun while in the night, when sunlight is absent, there is net loss in energy. The Earth's crust has limit to absorb an energy. Hence, Terrestrial radiation occur mostly at night.
