Hey friend here is your answer

Question - why does Thar desert get very little rain?

Answer - Due to scorching heat as most of the moisture of the winds isevaporated. Some deserts arenear the equator where the air is very dry. ... If rain falls it stays dry in deserts because the sand absorbs the water. there is the aravalli ranges obstructing the thar desert ,so it gets scanty rainfall .

Hope it helps ❤️
