why does the air passing through a desert cooler becomes cooler?

because...desert cooler have dry grass which get wet by water pumped by water motor.....then the air comes from outside gets cool and it gives us cool air....

because cooling in desert room by cooler is caused by the evaporation of water.on hot day the higher temperature increases the rate of evaporation of water and dryness of air also increase the rate of evaporation of water that's why it cools better on hot dry day
