inhaled air is 2500-3000ml while exhaled air is 1100-1200ml.

The only difference between them is the varying levels of oxygen and carbon dioxide. The inhaled air is actually a air. ... But the exhaled air is predominantly carbon dioxide because after respiration and oxidation of food carbon dioxide is produced which is exhaled.
