"There WAS room in this world for a mountain lion and me"these words shows there USED to be room for the leopard and the author but unfortunately the hunters killed the leopard. This thought echoed in his head because the author had shared a few memories with the leopard and made it trust him.He had also made a new friend,the leopard and the author were like pals...It also reflects that the author misses the leopard.
