He also entertained Mahendra by telling good stories. Mahendra enjoyed listening to his stories because they were packed with adventure, Horror, and Suspense.

answer:- Mahendra more often lived in isolated places which were usually construction sites. Iswaran provided a great company to Mahendra .He would chat with Mahendra at night when he return from his work . Iswaran would also entertain Mahendra by telling stories. Thus with Iswaran around, Mahendra never felt bored and never felt the necessity of having a TV for enternaiment.
