Author says, "Toto was not the sort of pet we could keep for long, " as he realises that a monkey can never stay constant. He also realises the works done by Toto, such as having a bath in tea and ultimately burning himself, making noises and not letting other animals in grandfather's zoo, etc. Hence, they return Toto to the Tonga driver again, and special thing is that, Toto was brought for 5 ruppeesand sold for 3 ruppees. This activity of selling Toto reflects how mischievous was Toto.
