Why does the blue colour of copper sulphate soln starts fading when zinc rod is dipped in it?

the colour of copper sulphate start fading due to displacement reaction takes place.
As zinc is more reactive than copper displaces it. And hence color change.

zinc is more reactive than copper .Hence it easily displaces copper from its sulphate solution. So the blue Colour starts folding and copper gets deposited on the rod
