Why does the boiling point of water increase when solute is added?

First of all know what is boiling point...
it is the temperature at which internal pressure(instrument in which water is boiling) is equal to the atmospheric pressure..
But when solute is added then internal vapour pressure decreases and less pressure presents in beaker in comparision to atmospheric pressure..
so to equalize internal and external pressure boiling point of water increases
Hope it helps!!
