Why does the Buddha have a bun?

It's the Snail Martyrs story, and it goes like this: One day, the Buddha was on a walk and began thinking very deeply. He came to a tree and sat down in its shade to continue hismeditation. ... Other snails noticed and followed the first one, covering Buddha's headin a neat cap of spiral shells and cool, damp bodies.

Buddha just used to be meditate always...
As always he was meditating on that day when he had got the bun.....
He was sitting down to a tree and by closed eyes deepened into his meditation , then showing them lots of snails and other insects came to bite him...
But Buddha didn't break his wisdom. , then through this he just got a bun...
