While Srinagar has good atmosphere in summer to work in the summer. From November to April,the sae offics are shifted in Jammu which is the winter capital of the state.

Srinagar is the summer capital, and Jammu is the winter capital. ... But in winters Srinagarbecomes geographically challenging due to the blockage of National Highways and landslides. Thus every year the capital is shifted to Jammu to ensure the trade and business do not suffer.
