why does the child find brushing a useless activity in the poem "Oh I Wish I'd looked after me teeth".....plz help me ,i need it as soon as possible.

The child loved eating sweets and did not actually understand how important it was to brush his/her tooth everyday because he/she only thought of eating and enjoying rather than doing a boring thing like brushing teeth. Hope that helped!

The child found brushing the teeth up and down a very useless activity. She used to stand in front of mirror and just used her brush to stroke it up and down the teeth. Even though she did it every night but it didn't help her to avoid getting cavities because of the amount of sweets she ate was much more. She regretted it later.
