The colour of copper sulphate solution is blue but when iron nail is dipped in it the solution becomes green
THIS is BECAUSE when iron nail is dipped in copper sulphate solution, iron displaces copper from it's salt solution that is copper sulphate and iron sulphate is formed which is green in colour and we can also see the brown deposit on nail which is of iron.

When an iron nail dipped in the copper sulphate solution than iron displaces copper from the copper sulphate because iron is more reactive than copper. Therefore the colour of the copper sulphate solution changes.
The reaction involved here is:
Fe (s) + CuSO4 (aq) → FeSO4 (aq) + Cu (s)
