Answer:yes the colour of Cursor changes to green when iron nail is dipped because iron is more reactive and hence replaces place of {Cu} copper and forms FeSO4 Ferrous sulphate

The nail gradually dissolves. The blue colour of copper sulphate solution gradually fades and red colored copper metal is deposited on iron nail.

When an iron nail is added to copper sulphate solution, iron atom loses two electrons and is converted to ferrous ion (Fe²+).Thus iron undergoes oxidation . On the other hand, cupric ion (Cu²+) gains two electrons to be converted to copper atom (Cu).The copper undergoes reduction.
