why does the colour of copper sulphate solution change when an iron nail is dipped in it

the colour is change because iron displaces the copper from their salt solution and lead to the change in colour

Hey

Here Displacement reaction takes place.
Iron being more reactive than copper, displaces copper and so iron sulphate is formed and so color changes to green
