✔️The colour of copper sulphate solution is blue. When an iron nail is dipped in the solution the solution becomes green in colour because the metal iron displaces copper from copper sulphate solution(iron is more reactive than copper.
Fe + CuSO4 = FeSO4 + Cu

Iron Nail : Ferrum.
Copper Sulphate : CuSO4.
Reaction occurs, as the colour turns changed from blue to faint green.
Iron is more high-reactant element than copper. As the liquid form, copper sulphate gets reacted when the iron-nail to be dipped in the solution of copper sulphate, the Iron metal displaces i.e. exchanges copper from the solution.
