Hi !
The colour of Copper sulphate (CuSO₄) solution is blue.
When Fe(iron) nail is dipped in the solution , iron displaces copper from its solution. This is because iron is more reactive than copper.
Hence,copper gets displaced,and the solution formed is FeSO₄.
The blue coloured solution turns colourless(FeSO₄).
Copper metal gets deposited on iron nail.
Fe + CuSO₄ -----------------------------> FeSO₄ + Cu

when iron nail is dipped into copper sulphate solution iron displaces copper because iron is more reactive than copper this reaction is known as displacement reaction
Fe+Cuso4-gives = Feso4+Cu
Fe+Cuso4-gives = Feso4+Cu
