Why does the colour of the electrolyte remain same when after electrolysis?

The blue colour of CUSO4 remains unchanged in the electrolysis.A for every copper ion discharged at the cathode as neutral copper atoms, a copper ion is added to the solution at the anode and hence the total number of copper ion remains the therefore the blue colour does not fade.
