Why does the connecting cord of an electric heater does not glow while the heating element does ? For 0?

Ans: The heating element of theheater is made up of alloy which hasvery high resistance so when current flows through the heating element, it becomes too hot and glows red. Butthe resistance of cord which isusually of copper or aluminium isvery law so it does not glow.
