why does the density increase towards the center of the earth.explain

Example take a glass full of sand.  Just apply pressure with your palm. You will see the glass become somewhat empty.  

Now  

Density=mass/volume

By applying pressure volume become less

So the density increases.

Same in earth's case as we go down overlying weight(also pressure) increases thus density increases.
