since their is no horizontal force and acceleration , which cause no change in magnitude and direction of horizontal velocity theirfore at highest point where vertical velocity become zero but horizontal velocity remains that's why the direction of the motion of a projectile become horizontal at the highest point of the projectile ( this only occur only if air resistance is neglected )
