The area near the sea or an ocean is cooler than the area farther. The temperature of a place is not just depended on the distance from the sea , but also distance from equator, altitudes prevailing wind slopes etc. the winds coming through the water bodies is cool.

The area near the sea recieves a oceanic type of climate. The main reason the region is cool because where there is a sea, there is a process of evaporation and condensation.
