there are three types of attractions without contact they are
gravitational force
electrostatic force and
magnetic force
so not only magnetic there are 2 more forces without contact so....
the earth had gravity inside it

Because of Gravitational force which is in earth.
But gravitational force is the one who attracts only. A magnet shud repel
