Why does the earth does not move towards the sun .

because all the planet has its own orbit or we can say that path.....that orbit does not allow any planet to move towards sun

Because the other planet also attract Earth towards them therefore not only sun but other masses also attract the Earth that's why Earth move arround the sun with centripetal force

because of the larger mass of sun ,
and by the einstein theory of relativity
sun has a larger mass due to which it bends space time more than the earth
and to escape that earth revolves around the sun to overcome it's gravitation
