if you keep your hands in water for a long time it will remove all the sebum present in your hand and eventually it pay the way to water enter or penetrate into our fingers and skin logged with water and it starting to shrink. biologically the epidermis in our hand swells and try to pull the outer skin towards itself thus makes it wrinkled

when we are washing clothes hands are exposed to water for a long time .our fingers or hands behaves like hypertonic solution.the water is doesn't enter in our hands this is because of leaves them so fingers may shrink
