It's a Myth That Your Heart Never GetsTired. While your heart certainly doesn't get fatigued the way your skeletal muscles do, it isn't impervious to fatigue or excess stress, such as from long-distance, endurance-type cardio exercise.

☜☆☞ Heart is a pump that starts working 4 months prior to our birth and continue non stop till we die, @ 70 or more pumpings per minute. This is an enormous task. Whatever repair nature makes is on running machine, again a wonder.

Heart has the capacity to work continuously for long is basically because of two capabilities:

1. Heart muscle is different from smooth muscle and skeletal muscle. It has more mitochondria (power generators)per cell.  These muscle cells consume more energy.

2. There is an inherent mechanism of relaxation after every contraction. It may be in milliseconds but it provides rest to the muscle.

If one keeps heart healthy by means of exercise and good diet,  heart repays by longer & effecient working. Heart suffers if it has to pump against more resistance(in high blood pressure  conditions). Heart also suffers when it does not get enough blood supply for its own.

Heart is meant to work for life altering it's rythem every now & then according to the demand of body but it demands  your care too.
