Why does the heater element glow and not the electric?

Answer:the electric heater glows not the cord of heater .....

Explanation:this is so because resistance of heater is higher than the resistance of chord......

Thus more heat energy is produced in a heater than the cord therefore tge electric heater glows not the cord............
