it is because the human embryo is attached to the female's body before birth

here in the female's body there is a tissue named placenta which helps in the transfer of substances from the mother's body to the embryo

with the help of it, the food passes from the mother's body to the embryo and the waste substances from the embryo to the mother's body so that it can be excreted out

and the nutrition is derived from the mother till the time the offspring is in her womb

and after the birth of the foetus the mother's provides nutrition to the baby through the secretions of the mammary glands
